Maple Walnut
Before you start to think to yourself "It's too pretty! I'd be afraid to ruin it by writing in it!", stop! This deluxe blank journal wants to be written in. Just as each piece of marble is gorgeous on its own, it was calling for Michelangelo to carve it into something even greater. I create beautiful journals for the purpose in getting people inspired to write again, to step away from the digital and take a long intimate walk with the analog.
Handcrafted from pieces Walnut and Maple wood with Walnut inlays, the covers are sturdy and stylish. The inlay pattern is repeated on the back cover. The brown leather spine covering adds strength and durability to the book. The pages lay flat to allow you the maximum use of each spread. Page corners have been rounded to give the text block a modern yet soft aesthetic. The paper itself is a high quality fountain pen friendly paper, so smooth that you will want to write in your journal for hours. Pages have been left blank so as to not infringe on the quality by passing it through a printer to add a dot grid or lines. But a guide sheet is included with a lined dot grid if keeping your writing straight is of utmost importance to you. Two satin page markers are sown in to make sure you always know where you left off.
